Terms
By using Audiovault you agree to the terms below. They cover reading the site, using the material published here and the limits of what we promise.
1. Using this site
Audiovault is an editorial publication. You may read it, quote short extracts with a credit and a link, and link to any page. You may not copy whole articles, republish them as your own, or use them to train a commercial model without written permission.
2. Intellectual property
The text, charts, tables and layout of this site are owned by Audiovault. Photographs are used under public-domain, CC0 or openly licensed terms and remain the property of their original creators; captions identify the source where a licence requires attribution. The site name and wordmark may not be used in a way that suggests endorsement of another product or service.
3. Affiliate links
Some outbound links are commercial, and we may earn a commission on a resulting purchase. This never changes the price you pay and never buys a favourable review. Prices, stock and specifications are set by merchants and manufacturers and can change without notice, so always confirm details on the merchant’s own page before buying.
4. No professional advice
Nothing here is financial, legal or medical advice. Reviews describe how a piece of equipment behaved in our tests. Your room, your hearing and your source material will produce different results, and a recommendation for one use case is not a promise of satisfaction in another.
5. Accuracy and availability
We work to keep measurements and specifications correct and we correct errors when they are found. Even so, the site is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access and we may change, suspend or remove any part of the site at any time.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Audiovault and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of the site, from reliance on its content, or from any transaction you enter into with a third party after following a link here. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to access the site, which is nothing.
7. Third-party sites
Links to other websites are provided for reference. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their privacy practices or their products.
8. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at a rate that degrades service for other readers, probe it for vulnerabilities without written permission, or use automated means to reproduce its content wholesale.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The revision date below shows the current version, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept it.
10. Contact
